Jim Creek fish (1 silver, 1 red)So, even though the fish run has been slow so far this year, Jim Creek finally has some in and Shane and I went out into the clouds and rain to see if any could be seen or caught. Well, since Shane has that timing skill down, he was able to bring a few in and we kept a couple to bring home and eat for dinner. I didn't fish---just watched this time....sometimes I get too frustrated with the patience it takes and the fact that I can't seem to throw and pull my line at the right time doesn't help. We're trying to stay busy with whatever we can until the actual move, which according to the higher ups at the base, should be very soon....we're counting on getting Shane's orders sometime in the next week or 2 weeks at the most. The kids are having a lot of fun with all the grandparents though, so it's great they're able to enjoy this summer before school sneaks up on them soon! We're glad we sent them down there to visit with everyone.....we only wish we could be there too!

Mmm...Some salmon right now would taste so good! Glad you're having a good time before the big move! We're sure having one down here with your kids! We have forgotten, though, how much time it takes to raise young ones! Yours are adorable, and we love them so much. Keep having some fun; you need it!
