No new pictures to show, so here's a shot from a hike we took at Thunderbird Falls near our house. (In the fall) Maybe Valentines Day will stir up some fun photos! January has been somewhat tough to get through since the kids and I were sick for awhile with the flu, (Shane never got sick....must have been because he had a flu shot! Next year I'll have to remember to have us all get one!) And before that there was the eventful "finger through the router" incident that left Shane with a couple of messed up digits for awhile. He's healed up well though and it looks better than he thought it would. The rest of the month was filled up with Neo's vet checkup and shots, field trips to the library, having 3 cavities fixed and filled (that was my fun day------however, it has remotivated me to keep sugar out of my diet!), and last, but not least, the snowblowing of our driveway. (I'm really starting to get good at it!) Well that's it........until next time!

Surely hope you are all feeling better and that Shane has use of the injured finger by now....Yes it is cold and wintry here too. We have over a foot of snow piled up and in some places much more, actually higher than mylelf...but it will be nice to have plenty of water in the summer...Take care and know how much I love you all.

I can't believe how all of you standing there look so much alike! The day must have been beautiful and a little cold, but what a fun activity. It takes me forever to get on the computer but when I do it sure is fun seeing pictures of you all. Keep staying busy! Love, G. Malan
Your family blog is enjoyable to read. Thank you for stories of your family that mean even more to us out here in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean under the hot sun.
Love and hugs, Kip and Maryanne
Nice to see pictures of everyone having fun doing things that don't have anything to do with moving or removing large amounts of SNOW! It may be a bit early, but, it's nice to see some grass trying to poke out from under the edges of snow here. It's foggy and dreary this morning, but, sunny days are almost here. Yip-e-e-e! Have a great week! Grandpa Malan. P.S. Nice pictures of everybody.
